About Chestnut Heights Plumbing
A locally owned plumbing company in Elyria, Ohio, working for homeowners and small businesses since 2012.
Our Story
Chestnut Heights Plumbing is based in Elyria and has served homeowners and small businesses here since 2012. The work covers the everyday plumbing a house or a shop needs: leak repair, drain cleaning, clogged toilets, water heater repair and replacement, faucet and fixture installation, garbage disposal service and sump pump work. Sewer line problems and burst pipes are a regular part of the workload too.
Jobs range from small repairs to the plumbing for bathroom and kitchen remodels, in Elyria and in the nearby Lorain County communities. The way to start is simple, and it has not changed: call, describe the problem, and arrange a visit.
Meet Clay Parrish, Manager
Clay Parrish is the manager of Chestnut Heights Plumbing. He oversees scheduling and day-to-day operations, has worked in the trade for years, and still handles jobs himself, from leaky faucets and water heaters to drain clearing and repiping.
Clay likes solving problems and helping his neighbors. He shows up on time, explains the issue in plain terms, and gives an honest quote before starting any work. When you call, he may well be the one who comes to look at the problem.

The Truck in Your Driveway
You will recognize us by the truck: white, with navy lower panels, a slate-gray bed, our wrench logo on the door and our phone number on the side of the bed. If you see it in a driveway on your street, that is a neighbor getting a leak fixed or a drain cleared.
When a job needs a specific part, such as a water heater of the right size or a particular faucet, we tell you at the quote stage and set the work for when the part is in hand.
Neighbors First
For a local company, customers are neighbors: the houses we work on are in Elyria and in Lorain, Sheffield Lake, Avon Lake, Avon, North Ridgeville, Grafton, Oberlin, Wellington and Amherst. That is the reason for the way we work: explain the problem plainly, quote before starting, show up when we say we will, and leave the house as clean as we found it.
- Show up on time. Your day matters as much as ours.
- Explain things in plain terms. You should understand what is wrong before you decide anything.
- Quote honestly, before the work. And stop to talk if the job changes.
- Fix the cause, not just the symptom, so the same problem does not come back next month.
- Treat the house with care. Shoe covers, drop cloths, and old parts taken away.
